Triple Wooden Agogo Bell

Robin Jay Music & Gifts

Three solid wood bells are mounted on a handle to play three distinct tones when struck or scraped with the mallet. The ridges on the sides mean these versatile tone blocks can double as a rasp also (played like the Latin American "guiro.")

Agogo bells originated in Africa as metal bells, but have morphed over time to include this wooden version. These are a great addition to African ensembles, Puerto Rican and Cuban music, and are a must for a well-rounded percussion collection.
