This song book is written for pendant-style ocarinas which have 4-6 tone holes. Includes a brief history of the instrument, basic playing techniques, several beginning songs, and a page that features various scales including major, minor, pentatonic (blues), Native American, and Middle Eastern.
Song selections include Amazing Grace, Joy to the World, Bach's Minuet, Bolero and more.
All songs and scales are written in ocarina tablature, a form of diagram, rather than musical notation, so that reading music is not necessary to play the songs. (Having fore-knowledge of how the songs sound is highly recommended, however, as tablature does not communicate rhythm very well.)
