Product Details
The whirling drum consists of a 2-sided drum mounted on a wooden handle, with two beaded cords extending to either side.
It is played by whirling the drum from side to side, or spinning the handle between the flattened palms of your hands. The beads strike both sides of the drum, making a rich percussive rhythm against the natural skin heads.
Also known as spinning drum, monkey drum, tik tak drum, prayer drum, dugi dugi drum, and pellet drum.
